BACKGROUND

Alatas Turkey technicians were asked to check if there was a problem or not in the hoisting system. After all, checks were done, the A36.1 and A41 cards were replaced with another Crane and hoisting up and down solenoid connections. Our technicians tested the crane and decided that the malfunction was also the problem of the main board of the voltage regulator board.

Participation in the ship was provided for the hoisting system failure by Alatas Turkey technicians.

ALATAS’ SOLUTION

Alatas Turkey technicians did multiple examinations to find the failure of the hoisting system. They controlled the Joystick voltages and PLC Input signals, made the measurements on the A36.1 voltage regulator board, and showed hoisting-up signals. Hoisting up and down solenoid connections were also replaced.

Job scope

Alatas Turkey technicians participated in the ship because of the failure of the hoisting system. They controlled the joystick voltages. It was seen that the joystick signals came to the PLC, and then they controlled the PLC Input signals. They saw a Hoisting up and down signal input on the D27.1 card. After the measurements made on the A36.1 voltage regulator board, the technicians understood that there were hoisting up signals, but at the same time, there were no hoisting down voltages.

Our technicians replaced the A36.1 and A41 cards with another crane, but the voltages did not change.

Alatas Turkey technicians replaced the hoisting up and down solenoid connections. They tested the Crane to see if the Crane was moving in the down direction.

Alatas Turkey technicians decided that the malfunction was also the problem of the main board of the voltage regulator board.
