BACKGROUND
The Alatas Turkey technicians boarded the vessel to troubleshoot the crane. The technicians assesed the crane luffing and slewing system. They observed that the slewing solenoid was energized during the luffing movement. The results of this observation were 3 volts came to the solenoid during a left turn, while 24 volts came to a right turn. Then they replaced the joystick. Finally, they tested the crane and delivered it to the customer.

Alatas Turkey technicians made all the necessary controls and checks. They then completed replacement procedures, tested the crane and delivered it to the customer.
FULL WORK SCOPE
The Alatas Turkey technicians traveled to the Yalova and boarded the vessel to troubleshoot the crane.
First, they made some controls. In the controls, the technicians saw that the crane turned to the right when luffing up was performed.
The technicians assesed the crane luffing and slewing system. They observed that the slewing solenoid was energized during the luffing movement. The results of this observation were 3 volts came to the solenoid during a left turn, while 24 volts came to a right turn. Considering that the problem was the joystick, the technicians replaced it with the joystick supplied by the ship. In the controls, they observed that milliamperes and voltages were corrected.
After completing all necessary procedures, the technicians of Alatas Turkey tested the crane and then delivered it to the customer in working conditions.
