The Alatas UK workshop in Bradford carried out Zollern ZHP 4.26 winch repairs along with a Rexroth hydraulic motor assembly for an offshore crane. These specific repair jobs were a part of a broader project undertaken by multi-disciplined capabilities of Alatas UK for the refurbishment of a client’s Liebherr ‘Ram Luffing’ RL1500.
The Bradford hydraulic workshop disassembled both the Zollern ZHP 4.26 winch and Rexroth A6VM170HD3 motor to inspect all the equipment components. Our experts found the kit to be in relatively good condition and were rebuilt with original overhaul seal kits, bearing kits and brake pack. Once rebuilt, the Alatas technicians performed stringent testing on our own test stand in the Bradford workshop. The Zollern ZHP 4.26 was painted by the team to offshore crane specifications, ready for reassembly on the client’s Liebherr RL1500 to finish the job.
