|CH 117 U3 – TA 300E
These BLM Windlass repairs job was for a Bulk Carrier vessel equipped with a CH 117 U3 – TA 300E windlass.
The gipsy wheel had worn out and repairs were scheduled at a Singapore shipyard. Due to the complexity of the job, a BLM Mooring and Anchor Windlass Specialist from Alatas Singapore was requested to supervise the change out of the gipsy wheel, bearings and accessories.
The job was successfully completed, and the windlass was function tested and commissioned the satisfaction of the owner and Class Supervisor.
