After the customer called Alatas TR to troubleshoot the Crane, Alatas TR informed the technicians about the job. The crane was parked in the parking position after Alatas specialists examined the vessel, identified the issues, and corrected them.
Alatas TR was engaged by the customer to troubleshoot the Crane. Technicians from Alatas TR visited the vessel when it was docked in Tuzla for repairs.
The Alatas TR specialists attended the vessel and began by inspecting the manual board before doing all necessary checks and modifications.
FULL WORK SCOPE
- The technicians started by looking through the manual board. They then discovered that the hoisting and luffing switches lacked regulation.
- The switch that was malfunctioning was adjusted by the technicians in certain switch boxes. Additionally, the down luffing and hoisting switch function was changed. They saw that it was functioning normally. The limitations of the hoisting and luffing switch were modified by the specialists in accordance with the manual board.
- Technicians from Alatas TR regulated all limits for Crane 2 on the second day of work in accordance with the manual board. The jib could only be raised to a maximum height of 4.50 cm; this amount, which is displayed on the manual board, was changed to approximately 4 meters.
- The technicians found that the luffing switch on Crane 1 was malfunctioning when it was in the function down position.
- They were able to change the switch that was nonfunctional in the limit switch boxes. Additionally, specialists from Alatas adjusted the down luffing switch’s function. However, the hoisting switch’s restrictions were left unchanged.
- The Crane was finally put in the parking position by specialists from Alatas TR.
