An IHI Mark II deck crane, model H254200-240, required a broken rope sheaves changeout...
ALATAS Singapore mobilized it's team to extract the sheave pin utilizing a strong-back and a push-pull jacking arrangement.
However, the rope sheave shaft was seized tight and in the end had to be cut.
No problem for ALATAS, as manufacturing drawings were on file and a new pin could be machined overnight.
