IHI crane service carried out in Singapore

IHI crane service to replace IHI hoisting motor and IHI luffing motor during bunkering. Units replaced were IHI hydraulic motors type HVKP-ST for traversing motion and hoisting motor HVL-SS. Control valve block spool is scored beyond repair and a new control block is required, and can be sourced by Alatas. Seven old IHI motors were landed in Singapore for stripping and inspection. Crane tested after hydraulic changeouts, all found to be working successfully.
