In 2008, Alatas is celebrating its 20 year anniversary.
Established in 1988 by a group of ex Liebherr Managers and Engineers, Alatas today has grown to an International company based in 6 countries worldwide. From these locations the company provides experienced crane service engineers and supplies original and replacement crane spare parts worldwide.
Alatas UK opened for business in 1988. Securing dealerships with several crane companies, Alatas began supplying crane parts and crane engineers for ship, offshore and mobile cranes worldwide. Over the last 20 years the UK head office has outgrown 3 different locations and now has a purpose built offices, warehouses and hydraulic workshops over 2 sites located centrally in the UK.

Alatas Singapore opened in 2000. Directed by Andreas Horntrich, a long time Service Manager with 20 years experience of Liebherr cranes. Alatas Singapore has grown over the last 8 years and now is one of the major players in the Asian region for crane spare parts and crane service and repairs.

Alatas Americas opened in 2002. Based in Houston, Texas with easy access to the Port of Houston and the Gulf of Mexico. Alatas Americas Inc. expanded its crane parts and service business over the last 6 years and now occupies a 15 acres site outside Houston. Managed by ex Hydralift and ex Liebherr personnel Alatas Americas continues to enjoy strong growth throughout the continent.

Alatas Panama opened in 2004. Managed by ex Liebherr ship crane managers and engineers, its primary aim was to provide European ship crane service engineers for vessels during the Panama Canal transit or at Panamanian ports including Balboa, Colon, Cristobal and Manzanillo. Alatas Panama also provide spare parts for most types of ship, offshore and mobile cranes. Frequently working offshore in the Gulf of Mexico on offshore pedestal cranes.

Alatas Hong Kong opened in 2005. Directed by Rainer Schmied, a long time after-sales manager with Liebherr. Alatas Hong Kong provides crane spare parts and crane repair services for maritime cranes and construction cranes in Hong Kong, China and in the Asian Region.

Located in Bremen, Alatas Germany is directed by Manfred Froehlich, ex senior service engineer of Liebherr Hamburg with more than 27 years of experience with Liebherr ship, offshore and habourmobil cranes. Alatas Germany provides crane service and crane spare parts across Europe.
